Lion Air Travel Insurance are :
- Lion Air Travel Insurance in cooperation with PT. Asuransi Simas Net provide 24 hours protection a day, including accidents and travel inconvenience during the trip such as flight delays, lost of baggage and travel documents to the emergency medical evacuation services.
- This product is underwritten by PT. Asuransi Simas Net and specially designed for Lion Air passengers.
Lion Air Travel Insurance is available to all Passengers who :
- Under 75 years old at the time of return to Indonesia
- Place of departure is Indonesia Territory
- Maximum travel period per trip not over than 31 days
Lion Air Travel Insurance is available in two type of coverage as follows :
Round Trip
For those who are travel round trip with Lion Air. Lion Air Travel Insurance will cover since you are checked in at the departure airport, during trip and until your return at the airport of origin.
One way
For those who are travel only one-way flight with Lion Air. Lion Air Travel Insurance will cover since you are checked in at the departure airport until you are arrived at the destination airport.
Period of Insurance Lion Air Travel Insurance :
For Round Trip
Coverage start at the time of passenger check-in at the airport of departure and end when the passengers return to the airport of origin.
For One way Trip
Coverage start when passengers check-in at the airport of departure and ended when the passenger arrived at the destination airport.

Explanation of Lion Air Travel Insurance Benefits :
Personal Accident
Provide the payment of maximum benefit for death of total permanent disability due to accidents.
Medical Expenses due to Accident
Provide a replacement cost of emergency medical treatment at the hospital as a result of accidental injury sustained by the Insured during his / her trip in the destination area.
Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation
Provide a replacement cost of repatriation and evacuation / emergency medical repatriation (in critical condition) that needed when the passengers death or hospitalized during the travelling time.
Travel Delay
Provide compensatiton due to flight schedule disruption resulting in late departure with minimum delay of 5 (five) hours.
Travel Cancellation
Any of the following occurrence within 30 (thirty) days before the date of departure of the trip, such as:
- Death or/and serious Injury or/and serious sickness or/and compulsory quarantine of the Insured, the Insured’s relative or Travel Companion;
- Witness summons - Hence the Insurer will reimburse the unused and non-refundable portion of the Airline Carrier ticket fare.
Lost or Damage of Baggage
Provide reimbursement for loss / damage to baggage and personal effect that is in your baggage during your flight.
Trip Curtailment
Provide a replacement for additional costs which are not refunded from Lion Air if the Insured have to shorten the travel period due to bodily injury or serious illness or death of spouse or children .
Lost of Travel Documents
Provide reimbursement of cost incurred for replacing travel documents which is lost due to robbery, burglary, or theft during the travel period.
Personal Liability
Provide reimbursement of claims for a compensation to the third party as a result of your inadvertent that causes bodily injury or damage to property of the Third Party.
Felonious Assault
Provides a replacement costs incurred if the Insured suffer an injury payable to this policy as a result of a felonious assault.
24 hours Emergency Medical Assistance
Provide 24 hours emergency medical assistance service during your travel period.

Time Limit for Claim Notification :
Time limit for claim notification to PT. Asuransi Simas Net is 30 (thirty) days (maximum) from the date of loss occurrence.
Time Limit for Claim Process :
PT. Asuransi Simas Net will process the claim within 14 (fourteen) days after all document completed.

Additional Notes
- Lion Air Travel Insurance is only provide available for online booking system and cannot buy separately from your airline ticket.
- Any kind of money, stocks, jewelery, gold, and any similar of precious things are excluded in Lion Air Travel Insurance.
- Ski sets, bicycles, sailboards, golf clubs, tennis rackets and other sporting equipment are excluded, except while checked in as baggage with maximum limit are : * For One Way : Up to IDR 4,000,000 with maximum limit of reimbursement IDR 1.000.000 per item, * For Round Trip : Up to IDR 6,500,000 with maximum limit of reimbursement IDR 1.000.000 per item
- Maximum Sum Insured per flight is IDR 5.000.000.000,- (five billion IDR).
- Premium is charged for each passenger except infant with age 9 days – 2 years old.
- Infant is eligible for 20% of maximum limit for Personal Accident benefits and 100% of total sum insured for medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation benefits. Infant are not eligible for all of travel incovenience benefits.
